Sally & The Navigator: Part 4

On the way home they hoped...

Part 4 of this story starts out after the poker game was played and the chips were shared - and now the RC communities in the middle have decided to work together mutually with the other RC communities on the coast.

The Navigator worked his way around the poker game and Sally was there as well and all agreed - twas an evening of fine game playing face-to-face.

So this image speaks to the chips in the game played.

There you have it - the chips at the end of the game - when Sally was 9 months pregnant and ready to deliver the baby.

Chapter 1 of Part 4

After the game played fair Sally had to get them home and safe, and oh my Sally was a fine driver - safe and she didn’t even need the Navigator - but he said to her….

How did this “bill” end up in my pocket honey - the Navigator inquired as Sally drove them home from the game nine months pregnant -

The baby within felt the love strong and it firmed the will of the baby within Sally

Now “they” got the chips the Navigator wondered - but the ships I mean “chips” were shared in goodwill - amongst RC friends - you know RC means a “Rogue Community” don’t ya? - and so - let the chips fall where they will…..is what the Navigator thunk as Sally and the baby drove him home.

Twas just a day or two when the baby was going to be born, but lets go back in time to just after they escaped in Part 3:

I ain’t kidding round - it means the “color red”.

Chapter 1a

The game was over in an evening - Sally looked at the Navigator - she said in her eyes - you are a crazy weirdo and they both laughed silent…..

Then Sally became the pilot and together with the Navigator they made it home cause this is what you must understand - love is inviolate.

There is nothing - there never will ever be anything can violate the love twixt a man and a women in matrimony - and Sally and the Navigator - they been together a long time - they are fierce in both will and spirit.

So the game was over - they left the place - and then they commenced the journey back home - Sally’s Dad was about to learn about the fella married his daughter and this was going to happen being the chips been delivered and now the RC’s felt they were ready to go on the offensive.

So, the lamination occurred - and the baby was born.

Chapter 1b

They had Peace on their minds, but the journey back home was going to be anything but peaceful for Sally and the Navigator - but they expected nothing less on the journey back home.

They chewed on mint leaf as Sally’s ability to keep on hiking was getting to a minimum, cause me oh my - she was nine months pregnant and even though she held it within, the baby was determined to be born - and born she was.

She was born in a small tent the Navigator had prepared in advance and he alone along with the Momma named Sally delivered the baby - he navigated the both of them through that difficult moment when a momma has to “let go” of the baby held within…..it was a glorious time of family celebration - and when push came to shove - Sally was nothing but pro….she knew - her body knew - what to do and the baby girl was delivered when they were together close as can be - family in the making.

When the Navigator emerged from the tent, friends were there to greet the baby doll just been born - Sally had tears in her eyes cause she could sense the love of the community - the RC’s cared for their own - they cared for all babies and a new baby being born - that is good tidings.

Chapter 2 - A Baby Born

A baby was born. Sally and the Navigator felt they had known this baby since the beginning and how precious the baby was in their minds.

The Navigator - figuring challenges up ahead said to Sally - we are with new friends here and you just gave birth -

so lets stay here in the middle of the place and the Finke river basin dry just now -

but we got ways to get water and the baby needs your nipple to suckle upon. Both of em.

Tis only a man there at the moment his daughter was born could say this to the mother of the child most determined, but she agreed - she was in need of some solace and days of rest and time for getting to know the baby just emerged out of her body.

That ole “Navigator” - she loved him so much - why else she offer herself up in the making of the baby just been born - they both loved that baby with all of their energy - they wanted good tidings and a good future for their child conceived in the caves of Ngilgi I think tis “spelled” - twas in the earlier version of the story - when they had just gotten to know each other….after Sally screamed at the Navigator and saved his life.

They stayed there with new friends and the baby suckled on the nipples and drank the milk and the family grew stronger

I’m the author of this story - I may or may not be a Navigator in your mind - but the first version of the story commenced here:

That was Chapters 1 and 2 and Chapter 3 been told since then - this telling is Chapter 4 and oh my this is a story with merit.

Chapter 2a - A Choice is Made

In Part 3 of this story Sally and the Navigator were taken prisoner against their will, but in a way it helped Sally especially since she had never really been taken anywhere against her will - and from the Navigator’s perspective - being they managed to escape, then walk the dry lands together, then get to the poker game - and then share the chips freely with the RC’s in the middle stout and fierce in disposition - the whole way things unfold was “worth it” in the Navigator’s mind.

Little did Sally and the Navigator know they were being tracked as they headed back to where - to the coast I reckon. Either the RC proper - the homeland of the Navigator or to possibly Camp Colorado - it just depends…..

Well after Pigget Ungler’s body was laid upon the compound of the Commander held Sally and the Navigator prisoner, and then when the Commander had his neck under duress of the Navigator swift in response to anybody entering the door of the room he and his baby resided - after that, the Commander left alive and told - “no animosity” on our end - after that said Commander took an interest in Sally and the Navigator.

Both Sally, and the Navigator as well as the little baby but a few weeks old knew as they headed back to their homeland - that others might have some interest on the paths they were taking, and so good for them they made a potential friend in this Commander and little did they know for sure one way or the other, but the central RC’s in the dry lands Sally and the Navigator travelled to - for the purpose of sharing the code on the chips - little did they know - somebody else was watching - somebody had taken an interest - more than one somebody had - but Sally and the Navigator - they just wanted to get back home after successfully completing their mission .

Obviously, was not easy to maintain the pace they had previously before Sally was damn full of that baby - and now after the baby was born - their pace was even slower, but they didn’t mind growing in family love on the trails in a place used to be called Australia as they made their way out of the Finke River basin - after the chips were shared successfully in a poker game for the ages!

Still - when a man and women have a baby together - like they make the baby at first and then the women carries the child possible in her womb - whom has more call on that then the mother - when said child is born the mother and father have a new sense of what it means to be family - and that is resolute and inviolate. A mother’s love is the most intense of all for the mother carries the baby made in love and in love with the man planted the seed in her womb. There is no love stronger than the love of a mother pure in heart.

So - they knew they might be under observation - and frankly they could give a shit - they had means for defending themselves and they had made friends with those in the middle and now the RC’s were ready to tell the Base Infrastructure (BI) believers just how wrong it is to rely on central control - but, lets be honest both Sally and the Navigator and the baby born - they still wanted to live - cause life is more than prevailing in any given conflict - life is about learning together - why the hell do you think the RC’s share with each other? They might be Rogue, but they love humanity.

Nobody cares for central control - and the Commander thought he was the leader of forces undeniable realized when he regained his sense of humor - thanks to the Navigator - who incidentally had to teach Sally about being imprisoned - realized he wanted Sally and the Navigator to be in his life and he had the means and the ability to make this happen, but he had lesson left to learn at the hands of Sally and the Navigator!

Cause the Commander - while he had gotten a sense of humor back - was in need of some humility - and it was about to be delivered irrefutably.

After that it was time for the Commander to make a choice about life.

Chapter 2b - A Choice is Made is what the Navigator Said

The Navigator after a couple of weeks floating along and moving slowly said to Sally:

You made a choice and your choice is final - so why don’t you hustle up a bit - cause me and the baby are ready to get back home

Sons of bitches that Navigator pisses me off to no end Sally thought on the surface, but deeper down she knew - he was correct and this baby is driving me crazier then I ever thought I’d be - and I think he knew that when he planted the seed in me - but I opened myself up to him and Sons of bitches - I better get my shit together….cause I want to let him in again - and this baby is really interfering with my desire.

Sally was learning the hard lesson about having a baby and the Navigator could tell - but here is the thing - the Navigator already been held against his will - and Sally as well thanks to “him”, but she knew and he did as well - this baby has a will of her own.

The baby at that moment commenced to crying, but the Navigator looked upon Sally with that look in his eye he had - and she awaited delivery of more seed. She let the baby know - don’t be a cry baby….and then they continued on their journey.

They hiked on under the watchful eyes of many - but nobody had any right to watch them and they knew this and the anger was building - that baby born was going to be something else they thought in their minds future oriented thinking - turns out they were correct - perhaps, but time tells always - does it not…..

They went a bit further then they probably should have, but there was energy building and they knew - they just wanted to go back home.

They wanted to make a home of their own - with this baby and maybe another.

It was after a big argument - seemed to turn everything upside down, “the Commander” made another reckless choice - one the Commander would later regret.

Hard lessons on the way for the Commander took an interest in the couple last expressed to him: “we got no animosity” - thing is - lets be truthful, if you say that to somebody and then they watch you after that - then they deserve what they get if you fuck with “them” again after you held them prisoner - best to watch your own - the Commander was soon to be under wraps - cause others knew he was watching wrong - and that was his downfall….

His death was quick - and it was delivered by the nephew of Pigget Ungler - and that is that - but that nephew heard something the Commander spoke just before he delivered the bullet - and he know - he now was under a death sentence - and said sentence was delivered one evening later with precision.

This is the outcome of being remiss, or in remittance, when it comes to the personal safety of The Navigator, his wife named Sally and the baby they made together. Her name will be told later - but sometimes - there are consequences - such is life and the Navigator and Sally continued their trek down the trails to getting home.

The Commander along with Pigget Ungler and Pigget’s nephew were all DEAD deserved - and the Navigator said to Sally - hey baby - what’s for dinner tonight?

Chapter 3 - Does Anybody Remember

Does anybody remember the story of In an essay entitled “A Strategy for the Right” the late economic and libertarian scholar, Professor Murray N. Rothbard, called John C. Calhoun’s Disquisition on Government “one of them most brilliant essays on political philosophy ever written.”  Published in 1850, the year of his death, Calhoun’s Disquisition warned – and explained – how the American political system could evolve into tyranny, and how to stop that from happening.  Americans are now living under the tyranny that Calhoun feared, proving once again the prescience and brilliance of his Disquisition.

As Sally and the Navigator were whimsically making their way back home - the Navigator said to Sally after the previous evening they had one of the worst argument ever - What you know about Public Law 105-124?

He waited for a response - she was speechless - so he said this to her:

He then went on to tell her as they walked the trails - going back to home - he said - back then they wanted to commemorate that which they thought was so exceptional - but then the evidence came in Sally and now we know - you and me and this baby as well.

That merited a glance from Sally still annoyed with this damn Navigator telling her what she already sort of realized, but telling her with disposition she did not appreciate (at the time) - she responded:

The Navigator responded after all they been through - he told her with no ill will but resolutely - he said to Sally:

Too many rules ruin everything.

Chapter 3a - In an Act of Brilliance

The Navigator said to Sally, love of his life - do you sense the contradiction of the words above - in fact they say above in the statute - they want to sell “silver proof coins”, but do you know baby - there was a time in the statute when silver was defined as its value compared to the dollar of that place that is no more - just like this place we know since we went to the middle - used to be called Australia?

That left Sally speechless as she carried the baby - and then the Navigator said to her - let me prove it:

Oh Screw it Sally the Navigator said - I know what I read and what I have studied - there was a time when the value of silver compared to the us dollar was written in script - but then that was abandoned. Do you doubt me honey - I can find the text of it if you want - but how bout we work on getting back home with this baby - and I’m telling you soon enough I’m gonna plant another seed in you honey.

Sally truly did not appreciate that attitude while she was carrying the baby literally on her back if not in her belly - but what choice did she have but to listen to the Navigator’s ramblings as they walked the trails back home?

Chapter 3b - In an Act of Brilliance after the setup Tent

The Navigator whispered this in Sally’s ear - and while she pretended she couldn’t hear, the Navigator knew better - meanwhile the baby slept not knowing the discourse between her mother and father.

The Navigator slept well that night on the trail - Sally was troubled - the baby just wanted to suckle on the nipple - but we can’t be babies forever can we is what the Navigator was thinking. The Navigator has anger building up resolute.

In the morning they awoke - and then a world anew was upon them.

Chapter 4 - In the Middle of the Night - In a Dream

Here is what the Navigator whispered in Sally’s ear:

• 3.5% manganese

• 2% nickel

He said to her - tis not like the chips we played with - pure silver - tis copper mostly and other metals - doesn’t dismiss the value of Sacagawea - but be aware honey - there are tricksters out there - and my intent is to be sure our baby is aware. Then he kissed her and she roused in a moment, her nipple hardened a tad….and then he let her be cause they had a long trail to get home.

The Navigator did not intend on going back home alone.

Chapter 4a - In the Middle of the Night - In a Dream - This Happened

The Navigator awoke - with a scream.

Sally was then awoken…..the Navigator pulled the bat from under the bed…

The Navigator killed the wife of the nephew of Pigget Ungler who killed the Commander who ran into the room of the Navigator and Sally after his forces overwhelmed the opposition and the Navigator and Sally were taken prisoner against their will - and after the Navigator told the Commander - there is no ill will - and the Commander learned he was out of his league…

This all happened in a “dream” - was it real or not the Navigator wondered….

One thing leads to another, but one thing is true - the Navigator is a light sleeper and if anybody invades the space of him and his family - then in defense he will respond swiftly - why the hell you think he is called “the Navigator” - he has a path to follow and he in the name of his family will refute anybody coming upon the property with harmful intent. That is purpose of any Navigator worth their salt - but the Navigator knows - without a “pilot” where is there to go?

Chapter 4b - In the Middle of the Night - In a Dream - This Happened - the Baby Woke up Sally and She Slapped the Hell out of the Navigator

Sally gave her best anger to the Navigator, but he rebuffed her with resolution fierce - and the baby sensed the mutual abilities of her parents - and she fell in love with them and they went down their path - the baby knew - this path was not hers - it was chose by “whom” the baby might of wondered - but the baby knew this: both her parents gave her loving attention. They made her, they loved her, and she would always have their loving attention - no matter what happened. Same was true for the next baby they were going to have.

Chapter 4c - In the Middle of the Night - In a Dream - Back on Topic

Sally was floating on a tube going down the river easily flowing with not too many stones and she was dreaming in her dream about better times…..

Meanwhile, the Navigator had just awoken he was thinking - or maybe he only dreamed it…..he could sense Sally was floating and he didn’t want to disturb her specially since the baby was sleeping as well - for Christ’s sake he thunk!

I mean come on - you have had a little baby with you on the trail - doesn’t really lend itself to good nights rest when there are but the three of you all….but Sally and The Navigator has “sort of” worked out a system - improving day-by-day as things are in flux always when a little baby is growing quick - being momma lets the child suckle to its heart’s desire.

It is worth it to have a baby full of milk, cause then that child - as well all tend to do with full stomach - but a baby growing especially…… - do you need me to say it - it helps the kid sleep! And when that baby is sleeping, it ain’t crying, and when both the baby and the momma are sleeping - a papa be a crazy man to disturb said situation - so the Navigator just laid there in hazy contemplation - it was nice in a way sort of - but he knew - it wouldn’t last.

Chapter 4d - In the Middle of the Night - In a Dream - Back on Topic - On a Whim

The Navigator whispered to Sally -

Lets go back to the Homestead place - you remember - Jaurdi Station Homestead baby -

remember how much I cried there he thought to himself…..

Lets go back there Sally - he whispered in her ear

he whispered…..she slept on and he hoped she heard him, but an idea was forming in his mind and he told her first - cause Sally was the love of his life.

Chapter 5 - A Nightmare about Separation

So while the Navigator may have whispered something in Sally’s ear - she was the one carrying the baby and suckling that kid and she no doubt had a mind of her own - and the two the them - Sally and the Navigator as much as they enjoyed each other’s company on occasion they had disagreements.

This is the nightmare the Navigator had as he dozed off after whispering to Sally….

In the middle of another heated argument, the Navigator - practiced in walking the trails got so flustered by Sally’s mannerisms - he fell - and this fall had consequences.

The fall was over the precipice and in a moment Sally lost her Navigator cause he fell when he and Sally got into one of their many arguments on the trail, but this time he didn’t just fall to the ground - he fell over the precipice - and in a moment he was gone. This moment was not temporary and the damage done was serious, and the Navigator when he finally landed far away knew - Sally was out of view, he had a broken bone or two, and the baby now might never see her daddy again.

Chapter 5a - Separation - Sally Decides to Leave the Navigator

The nightmare continues:

Sally in the heat of the moment decided her and the baby be better off without that obstinate Navigator trying to speak this and that on the trail - and so she left him there all alone.

She and the baby only went a day or two before they were apprehended and the Navigator - he was left to survive on his own wits.

After being abandoned after he fell off the precipice, the Navigator during a certain moment was forced to make a choice -

Do you want to live or do you just want to die?

He chose to live even though he felt like what is the point if I have been abandoned, but the will to live in the body is strong and the Navigator had a home and maybe it wasn’t where he whispered in Sally’s ear - maybe twas elsewhere he thought after days and nights of torment when he fell and then was abandoned.

Woe is me - he thunk to hisself in mockery of his own self - woe is me he thunk…and then he realized - I can make better time on my own and that baby and the next one I dreamed about - they were just dreams in my imagination…..and then despite the pain, the swelling in his brain diminished and he got himself on his feet and he headed for home alone.

Chapter 5b - Separation - Sally Decides to Leave the Navigator - Sally is Lost

The nightmare continues further:

Meanwhile, Sally and the baby - all alone - just the two of them - and that baby really wasn’t facilitating anything being she needed constant attention - turn out Sally didn’t make it far till she realized she needed assistance - problem is - a lady walking the trails with an infant in the place used to be called Australia far away from home and in the wild lands - she is an easy target and the wolves and other predators got wind she was there all alone and they came swooping in to take her while she was vulnerable and they got her - they got both her and the baby.

They took the two of them cause they knew the chips had been delivered and now Sally was without assistance nor navigation and the baby was in the hands of others. Sally cried, but this made no difference - she screamed but nobody heard her. She chose to leave the Navigator and now she was in the hands of others and really she chose this outcome…..she left him behind. She chose to do that and maybe she didn’t realize the consequences, but now they were upon her and the baby.

Chapter 6 - Eff This

The Navigator awoke after that freaking vivid dream - and whispered for his own sake to his own self:

The baby started stirring as she was want to do and the Navigator just listened to the baby till Sally awoke.

He looked at her close - he said to her:

I love you.

That really happened - the nightmare was over….

Chapter 6a - Eff This - Both the Navigator and Sally were in a Foul Mood

For a moment as they were packing up, the Navigator somewhat dazed after that vivid dream he was still wondering about, and Sally rather annoyed at how much both her nipples hurt from the suckling child; for a moment, the Navigator thought - this is the baby’s doing - but then he tripped on a rock when he was going to take a piss in his dazed state and then he fell upon a larger rock and cracked his skull.

He didn’t even “scream” when he fell, but the rock he fell upon turned a crimson red and he had tears coming down his eyes when Sally ran to be with her Man who just cracked his skull on a large stone fixed in the ground….

In a moment they both looked each other in the eyes, and then to her amazement, the Navigator stood back up, wiping blood all over himself - and he laughed out loud! Laughter is contagious, and Sally laughed as well……they looked at each other in the eyes direct and both thought - “never again”.

Sally bandaged her man up, and he took his piss, and then back upon the trail they were - heading home!

Chapter 6b - A Choice is Made

After another day walking, another day traveling on the trails together, another day of so many it seemed - that evening Sally and the Navigator sat together in a place fine that was part of a place used to be called Australia - they knew the trails tomorrow were not going to be easy, but tomorrow - if they both were still breathing - they were going to be out of the Finke basin - and the Navigator said to Sally:

I’ve changed my mind, I don’t want to go back to the homestead of tears..

Sally - looked at him and said:

But you said you want to go back there as if there is “unfinished business”

The Navigator took a moment, being the child was sleeping content, and said:

There is unfinished business, but now is not the time - with all that has happened Sally, I hope you don’t mind - I just want to get back to my place - my People.

And then, in a moment, a tear emerged out of both his eyes and he quietly cried in front of Sally…..she cried as well - they held each other for a brief moment, and then the baby stirred.

Chapter 6c - A Choice is Made and that is that

Sometimes arguments occur and they need to happen for the sake of clarification, but sometimes harm is done and that harm is permanent…..this is what the Navigator had in the back of his mind as he traversed the pathways and Sally and the baby travelled along……he knew - sometimes when choice is made said choice in permanent - and then he looked in the eyes of the women who screamed and saved his life - and she smiled back at him.

You ever looked into the eyes of a women you love so deeply smiling at you - if you haven’t, as the author - and the Navigator concurs - you ought look in the eyes of a women smiling.

After this choice was made the Navigator knew something and he was ready for confrontation.

Chapter 7 - So Get This

The Navigator as they together walked out of the Finke River basin said to Sally baby doll - honey you know they get everybody addicted to the code of their ways and we just delivered said code to the RC’s in the middle. He went on to say: you know - you and the baby we made together know we shared the chips with the code to the RC’s in the middle - so you know don’t ya baby?

While most of the time she ignored his talking self on the trail; this time he cut a little too close to something that had been on her mind and bothering her. She turned upon him so quick the baby fell off her back unexpected, but the Navigator caught the baby midair as she made her point saying -

It feels unreal to me she hissed at him - before she realized the baby was aloft

And then he cradled the baby in his arms and passed their child back to her - the mother - the one who had the nipples the child desired - she suddenly had some humility come upon her - cause if that Navigator wasn’t so quick - then the baby out of my body might not be alive she thought to herself and then the Navigator said as such to her:

Sweetie - my advice is to bet on the horse already won the first race -

Better yet - lets just get back home honey - you me and the baby and the next one on the way

When he said this to her she didn’t know how to respond - other than she now knew his plans for the future - another child was gonna be on the way if he had his way….and then he shared a glance at her knowing - and no screaming was needed - cause at that moment they learned how to communicate in silence and Sally smiled at the Navigator as he handed the baby back well protected to her - and upon the trails they continued.

Twas home they both had in mind - and home they were heading.

Chapter 8 - All Stories End

This story has come to its ending - I think there is going to be a Part 5 - but I’m not sure - there is always uncertainty on the trail - ask Sally and the Navigator about that.
