You know what I think. I think it is an exciting time to be alive!

May the best ideas prevail and I'm not afraid to die for my principle.

Not at all - that would be a fine way to go.

Buffalo_Ken, you are the best. Good on you, footin' the dog meal bill. I'm pleased you chose this topic to write about. It is exactly my intention:

Recently, I adopted a few "people" into my fold. They surely, won't be sorry, as they shall be treated like one of my clan....Too read more, I will be making notes in the near future.

Blessings ~

Depswah - if you don't mind, I'd like to return back to this thread and share some additional thoughts......I think I misinterpreted your comment as somehow potentially suggesting something that I don't think now you were suggesting, but somehow it "triggered" me in the moment. We all can be triggered I reckon and for me family is paramount.

So, the way I am sometimes, I contemplate and that is why I came back and made the edits that I did.

Regards to you,

Ken

BK - Though I had not heard your warbling, I was paying you and yours a compliment - Not a slap, slander or slur!

In my humble opinion, life is way to short to offer anything, save LOVE.

Thank you for your amendments.

Very kind of you. I'll share a bit more and then perhaps tis time to put this to rest.

I've had times where reading twixt the lines I sensed intent not typed direct, and often what I sense turns out to be accurate, so I trust my gut instincts on this - but without being face-to-face a reader can "jump to incorrect conclusions". When it comes to family my antennae are always up and I'm not hesitant to express my will to defend with gusto & rigor. I realize I've been very personal with information I have shared here and that I have made mention of my family as well, so tis not unfair for others to do likewise in good faith. Upon re-reading with a calmer mind and when I awoke unsettled, I concluded that is what you had done and that is why I made the edits I did.

Sometimes I get on "edge" and I should learn to be prudent with comments when I am feeling as such. Tis an ongoing effort.

Anyhow, welcome to this site and I hope you share your ideas here in the future and post whenever you feel inclined.

Warm Regards,

Ken

Let me be the first to say "I ain't the best", but happy to have you here Depswah - native elder. I am honored that you have taken the time.

Respectfully,

BK

ps - if you go onto Facebook - I don't ascribe to it, but if you go there I believe my "winning" spouse call has been posted - my vocal cords can do much more.

Buffalo_Ken, thank you for the mention, as well, the heads up on your spousal hollarin'. I also, do nit do FB. Perhaps I shall hear it somewhere else - Besides, if'n yer truly that good (1st prize), then yu'd best take care in how you spread that call around (may attract unwanted suitors). Wifey may not appreciate the extra attn coming your way. Lol

(81623 - text edited):

I don't know Depswah but the response is noted. Sometimes it is best not to jest with somebody you are just making acquaintance with. I believe the Cherokee were aware of this and the native elders there did the best they could but sadly Jackson was a traitor to them and to think - Jackson lived amongst the Cherokee in what is now known as Tennessee. But then after his head got big after a victory in New Orleans he signed off on the Removal Act of 1830 - oh what a shame that was and now it is coming back to haunt the DNC - not kidding around.

So thanks for posting here I reckon and who knows what the future holds?

Not I.

Peace is easy,

Ken

Well now one has to contemplate what you mean by that message......upon reflection, I think my initial reaction was unfounded so....

P&S - thanks as always for your feedback and input.....as I like to do, I'll give a hint about my next post....all I'll say for now is me and my fine neighbor made some salsa yesterday and now I know the recipe and have several jars to prove it! So good, so easy, so fresh, and so tasty - that is the fate for most of the rest of the tomatoes this season......

And guess what?

Looks like a nice crop of "ghost peppers" is about to emerge.....that lifts my spirits, but I don't know for sure....in a week or so, I suspect it will be undeniably evident if those plants are ready to release some ghosts.....I sure hope so.

Peace,

Ken

Oh what a joy to hear of your triumphs Ken. I am pleased to say that my beans are hitting the top of the canes and I have pinched then out now - so crops in mid-September at the latest. Wow - what a season of failures - never before happened to me in 25 years of gardening!

Nice maters Ken. Thought you might like Oliver Anthony from West Virginia. Some good stuff. I call it a sermon in a song. So many people love it because it speaks Truth. You & I are lovers of the Truth. Take care Ken!

You know what is amazing to me Parzival - you must know already....

We need healing.

We all need healing.

~~~
I thought I heard an indigo bunting today when I was walking my dog by the river bank....and I tried to whistle back to that bird....but I don't know....maybe it was nothing but imagination Parzival - but you and I both know all the harm that is in the minds of the soldiers and I don't know about you for sure, but I think you would agree - lets bring them all home is what I think. Shall we? Can we? Can it be done.
Where there is a will there is a way but imposters are undesired and will be revealed rapidly if you tread on the river where you have no calling.
We're of the same mind Ken, of this you may be certain!
It's well past time to bring our soldiers home and rebuild our society to be industrious with our ingenuity, and capable with our cutting edge technology...
Parzival - my wife is out there cleaning my car just now after we had a most enjoyable walk around the block in the neighborhood.
What you say above makes so much sense, so one has to figure it will happen eventually - either chosen or imposed upon the offender.
I hope all the troops come home, the bases get closed, the infrastructure shared with the local area, the pollution contained if not eliminated, and then in the Us of A we can commence the long-term effort of getting back to what made this country a fine place when it was founded.
