Wallet Disappearing?
How does one's wallet disappear?
This may be a rare post without any images and it is an incidental post unplanned, but life has a way of throwing curveballs. I’ve learned not to let it get me upset when this sort of thing occurs because often there are lessons to be learned.
So, here is nothing more than a personal anecdote of experiences I’ve had in the last few days…..I’ll do it in a list succinct:
I got back here to be with family for my Birthday celebration.
We had “fun” together and there was much excitement.
I returned in my vehicle after having a meal at the Chick-Fil-A that I paid for with a credit card.
That is the last confirmed time I had my wallet in hand and it was 5 days ago.
Since then, yesterday was the first time I had to go somewhere in my vehicle and lo-and-behold my wallet was “nowhere to be found”. Oh well, I didn’t need it for the excursion that had already been scheduled.
Upon return, a full-fledged all-out search effort was initiated for my wallet, which over the years I have become more prudent in how I handle.
The search has been fruitless and one is left to wonder?
How does one’s wallet disappear?
Now, I could speculate but typically speculations about this sort of thing are incorrect; however, I can’t deny as I’m typing this that sometimes lately especially funds and assets of folks just going about their business have been disappearing at alarming rates.
Take for example on a small-scale the Canadian’s who supported the “Trucker Movement” via “Go Fund Me” (eff them) - they had their bank accounts frozen (some of them) as an outright act of theft and bad intent by the banking authorities and their cohorts. Now consider on a larger scale, the gold from Venezuela as well as the substantial reserves from Russia deposited in good faith - both of these things were literally stolen in broad daylight by the bankers and their cohorts.
Suggests there are thieves about and did you know one of the 10 commandments is “Thou Shalt Not Steal”?
This is what I just shared with my family:
I think it has disappeared. I don’t like to ask Saint Anthony for assistance unless I’m in seriously dire straits. This is not that, but it is very annoying and inconvenient. If it is lost, it likely will be found eventually. If it was taken, I have faith there will be consequences for any thief.
At the end of the day I reckon I will have to commence deciding what I want to restore and what I decide to forego. This way, even though I didn’t choose for my wallet to disappear, in the long run it could be a blessing after I forego that which it turns out I didn’t need in the first place.
That {is a} positive way of understanding something seeming to be lost for no reason.
Nowadays, more than just about ever, I think it is a time to contemplate what is most important and realize there is much we have that we don’t need - in fact it is more than that - some things we have are actually more harmful than good. I would put all these “smart devices” high up on that list. I think my life would be better if I didn’t have a smartphone for example, and I said to my wife:
These phones have made all you “ladies” crazy thinking you got to be keeping up with everything constantly and now you can’t even go a few hours without holding it….
OK, why not - I’ll share a few images from the last week or so. The first is of a piece of “owl artwork” I recently purchased for my wife at a delightful place in Fancy Gap. The second shows the 2nd larger batch of salsa recently made based on lessons already learned (thanks neighbor!).
I don’t really care about my wallet disappearing - I know that what I’m about is way more than what is in my wallet or my pocketbook. So, the central bankers can take it and shove it. With that said, if they think they can keep stealing, they must not really believe in the 10 Commandments……I think some of the Commandments could be consolidated, but not all of them; and one that is obvious to folks decent is that is it WRONG to steal - it is offensive, criminal, and an act of contempt upon the maker.

Exciting times we live in kind readers - I hope you have planned in advance.
Until next time….

an edit that seems “on topic” to me in the “5G” world we live in I reckon:
Now, let me ask ya - what you think makes the light reflect the way it does?
~~~~~~~ for the sake of proof ~~~~~~~~
(edit made above just now - tis 82423 1141. These cards will be cancelled I reckon).
I don’t think there is any “sensitve” info there and if there is I could care less cause the card is locked.
The wallet has been discovered - it was in a blender - I took the blender to the getaway place to chop zucchini and next year I don't even think I'm going to plant zucchini - if I do, it will be one plant at the most - too much zucchini is a waste of effort - chicken feed it was it becomes when over abundant.
Anyhow - my wife found my wallet and who am I without her?
I think I'll make the list here of what was in my wallet - that way I know I can find it assuming the internet works and even if it don't, I have the list:
1. Credit Card from WellsFargo
2. Credit Card from Citibank - associated with Costco
3. Credit Card from Lowes.
4. Health Equity card for health expenses and paid for by virtue of a health account funds were deposited fair and square.
5. AAA Card.
6. Various health insurance cards.
7. "Access" card to bank account.
8. I can't remember the rest.
~~~
OK - after a quick skim, I don't think I need any of those cards and so maybe tis time to start cancelling accounts with entities that are not trustworthy.
What you think?
Is it time to cut the cord with the banks?
