I’ve been remiss with respect to providing updates on the Garden and so without further ado - here are some images along with a few edits:
This shows the garden area coming along with a chicken coop recently placed in position within a protected area.

Edit: 6725 1113 - This is my “final edit” - but I wanted to share two images of something I’ve been discussing or at least mentioned in previous articles….
This is a wind chime I’m giving my Father-In-Law for Father’s Day - its the one with the big wooden epoxy piece and the hummingbirds……it needs to go up higher than it is in the images - but they give a “feel for it”:
~~~~~~~ well - Update 12 should be forthcoming in a week or two and remember this - Belmont Stakes trifecta - 3 7 1 ~~~~~~~
(end of final edit)…..
I just finished a fine poker game with friends and it wasn’t them who got out their checkbooks was I actually - thank goodness twas only small stakes amongst friends.
Welcome to my life I say with this edit again - I mean really - the rosemary…
It looks “oily” to me - it is fragrant - I know that from some of its sisters….
~
One close up deserves another I reckon:
Basil they say is the “King of Herbs” - hard to argue with that!
Welcome to my life I say with this edit:
The chicken coop - any chicken would love to live in - plus I’m upgrading the place using some left over screening - just in case some critter thinks about trying to dig in there….(besides the chickens of course!).
Another view.
This little sweet-heart is more than meets the eye - she was overwintered and now she is ready to deliver the fine cayenne-jalapeño hybrid her momma (god rest her soul) passed onto to her in my mind!
check out this little rosemary - just trying to get going…
This basil looks very sweet to me - and it likes hanging out with the cilantro and random yellow flowers clover like that are in the vicinity.
Well - I got more images I’m awaiting - …….hmmm - seems enough is above.
I think I’ll just post this update now - and maybe come back later with other images.
Warm Regards,
I know many of my little peppas were stifled - but when the temperature increases - get ready for exponential growth - cause I got many in the ground - and I can tell already - some of them are ready to Go!
This is a final edit I post here on #11 Update - I post it in honor of Wolfgang:
Check this out!
I don't know why I'm staying up so late tonight.....I'm trying to think about my favorite poker hand in the evening - there were so many - tis hard to choose - hmmmm.....I guess if my hand was forced I would say it was the one where you "flip you own" - low card down wild - 3 cards dealt down at first and then four more rounds 1 card deal in each - and then "flip your own" each time - knowing the low card "down" is Wild! That is a fine game - and I said - odds are 4 of a kind at least wins this - full house for sure.....but oh know- we each got dealt total shit - and the hand was one by a straight I seem to recall - and the probability of that being there were six players playing poker as they have many times on 6/6 in the year of 2025 - I'd say if the six players all basically know the game - the probability of that is less than 1% - possibly much less.
That I guess if forced to choose was my favorite hand of the evening.....and the host was gracious and it was good to play poker with pals.
What an amazing Father's Day present you created there. The artist in you is obviously thriving. That moves me, especially as mine is kind of de-hydrating. Missing the water of love and life. Alas my friend, there are good news on top of the recurring nonsense in my life. Thursday I had my DOT physical and passed with flying flags. Now I am ready to get my commercial learner's permit and with that - I am already scheduled to go "on the road again". And - last but definitely not least in any way: after seven years without a ride that I could call my own after escaping Hawai'i - I scored big time on an auction in Arcadia.
