Such a blessing to have all this wood stacked up at the house. It will take some time to dry, but you already know that you have some outstanding opportunities to create beautiful pieces. From the smaller parts, I can see a chessboard and figurines carved. All from one tree. Really awesome. Congratulations. It really helps to have a home. 😎
I think many of the smaller/thinner planks have already dried sufficiently, but I'm in no rush and so far I'm pretty pleased that there seems to be very little warping. Ultimately over time as long as I keep the lumber properly stored I suspect a worthwhile use for every piece will emerge. In the meantime it is sort of a relief to have them all safely secured here at the Getaway place - it has been an "adventure" in that regard.
