So, this post is a placeholder to mark the starting time when I commit myself to posting once a week on Monday.
I looked hard for the other spider picture I know I’ve taken, but I couldn’t find it, so instead I will just post several pictures on this placeholder article.
However, I want to mention that so far my “Garden Ambitions” are going well, but I know just as you do I suspect if you are reading this, that not all ambitions come to fruition. Tis a fact of life I reckon.
Okay, here are the images and I think they speak for themselves, so no further commentary from me in the article proper, but as always, I’m receptive to feedback and I’m trying to get better.

He we go, check out the images below - ok, tis 4624 1044 and I’ve deleted the two images that were there for just a day or two and here are the new ones I want to present:
Um, I might come back here later and present a portion of an image I made earlier of those tomatoes growing so strong presently……what would be the harm in that? It is all part of learning.

2023 is the year - look at the Buffalo….look at the Chief. Have some respect.
So, I'm "playing" around with the setting here for the "colors/shades/tints" call it what you will. What is in the foreground and what is in the background. There are few default options and I've optimized things I guess in that regard as I've been "playing" around with it today. But, you can enter in a "color" code and I appreciate that feature cause this "light-blue-grey" background tint is not exactly what I think I want....I think I want it to be a bit darker and maybe a bit more blue. So, I'll go find that "color-code" and then I will enter it and see if it is more to my tastes.
Like I said, I appreciate that "web-design" option and it is true I've got other websites and I have had them now for something like almost 20 years, but maybe just 17....anyhow, a pretty long time and I think Substack has done a commendable job in making the process to have a place to share ideas really accessible. I think that is laudable. That is why I put forth an effort to invest when the opportunity was presented.....just a small amount, but I think it makes sense to ask folks who have a Substack place to invest in it. That makes good sense to me, so I tried - hopefully at least some of the funds offered will be accepted.
Peace,
Ken
A little explanation might be of value so why not.
Picture #1 was from a cabbage plant ("Green Acre") I grew last year - that was probably the biggest head of them all.
Picture #2 is a jigsaw puzzle I put together and it is framed now and hanging over a fireplace in the place adjacent - could be a "dog-house" if need be, but it a place I'm proud of.
Picture #3 is me - what you see is what you get.
Picture #4 is tomatoes from last year's crop.
Picture #5 is some fine artistry merged with some supposed "green garnet" stones I got from somebody out of India and I have their business card in my office back in Charlotte, and I sure hope those little pieces of rock are what they were claimed to be because I paid fair & square - the fine artistry is from a friend of mine out of Russia and she can make jewelry and I'm most displeased that I am unable to purchase goods from her presently - most displeased.....but what you gonna do I reckon?
Picture #6 is the fireplace after the mortar was chipped off, repairs made to both the fire place and the solid bit of stone at the hearth, and then painted diligently and then caulk applied around the edges to an extent - it don't look like this presently - it looks better, but there is still work to be done.

So, from now on, once a week on Monday I will post pictures regarding the progress of my garden ambitions. Much thanks to all readers here and especially to those take the time to make a post.
