Thanks Ken. Principled decisions are good ones, but not always convenient. Whatever you decide, I personally would keep receipts and evidence of sale and not use it until that warning is thoroughly explained. If no explanation was forth coming, I feel your family and you are right not to risk liability by keeping it!
Well - my wife "chose" for me.....she told me I was being "crazy" and she opened the box!
I'll report back upon any "undesired operation"...(ha, ha......).
Thanks for commenting here and I totally concur with what you express above about "principled decisions" - and sometimes tis the "little things" like this meaningless sticker that can be so indicative.......there is just so much "bs" these days.....seems self-inflicted.

I can't deny I've been away from the garden longer than desired - but today I'll be getting my hands in the soil again - and that is time well utilized!
I talked with my family about it and we all agree - this device is not to be trusted if it literally can be taken over and controlled and they felt a need to post a message to that effect......I'm honestly considering sending it back.
So even though he didn't comment I've heard back from another old-timer friend and he says it is all bs and I tend to agree - but that doesn't get to the "heart of the matter" - I think I ought just send this piece of double-talk bs back to amazon - and let them deal with it - refused by virtue of too much legal mumbo-jumbo - what you think?
My first reading of it - say the device "must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation".
I'm just gonna be honest here - I'm thinking I may send this shit back for a refund.
The other possibility is I take it apart carefully and figure out how the hell it gets "interference" for eff sake....
This is WAR!

I feel the tension that comes with not having basic rights and unclassified double speak. No idea what it means but sending love and kindness your way

I'll decide tomorrow!
