Garden Update #19
62524 - tis 1955
Well - it has been most dry where I live and the plants don’t appreciate this lack of rain, but luckily I’ve been around to water them and I’ve laid down some peat moss along with a bit of mulch to hopefully hold what little moisture these plants have been getting.
They are most assuredly going to want more watering the bigger they get, but let me tell ya - I got some serious peppers - high concentrate - growing - and I’ll make sure they get what they desire - cause I put a lot of my own energy into these plants and my energy and my time is of value in my mind and my billing rate speaks to that - but I’m a rarity in the world of “consultants” - my price is fair and I get the work done.
So - with all that blubbery talk and whatnot - here is the garden update promised - I keep my word….when I say I’m going to do something - I’m not kidding around.
Guess what I paid for what is in the box?
$144 at Walmart. I could say more, and I’ll say this - I already had one in my possession from awhile ago and I installed it this mornting and then I went to the story and purchased four more of them - and really “central HVAC” is way overrated and seriously overpriced - cause these window units are inexpensive and make more sense where I reside.
This is the last bit of “kitchen work” I have to finish - it shows flooring exposed down to its root, but I’m gonna put some fine covering on it - and some tile work with leftover tile pieces and the next images shows preparation for that work that will be done before July 4.
Peace to all those reading this - and heaven’s above Julian Assange has been released and this truly brings me joy - cause I’ve been his advocate - just like so many others.
Peace and peppers are a good recipe for a better future is what I think - and I got some mean ass peppers growing - even if it seems there is a drought - did you know this - lack a water sometimes makes peppers even meaner!
Ken

Oh I meant to say how very happy Julian Assange's release made me too. I have been an advocate for years. I could not believe the politicians still calling out his activities being 'morally incorrect'. The man called out killing of innocent ppl, genocide and corruption. Which part of those criteria should be held back from the public because it's not in our best interest to know? Damn jackasses all of them!
Love what ur doing there Ken. Growing peppers looks great. I couldn't believe it. I had been growing beetroot in Hordern Vale, Vic, a very cold place this time of year. Just before the cold snap I had a few ready to come in and lo and behold something got to them before me. I was not happy. I'm only managing to grow some greens at the moment, and a few herbs. But it's so cold. I can't wait for the spring, we're dead in winter now, no turning back. What are ur go-to's in terms of winter produce?
