only my wife and I know now - and my wife may not know as much as I think she does - but probably she does - probably she knows even more than I think she does!!!!!
OK - here is a summary of ideas that were "proffered" presumably prior to the solution being offered "prematurely":
1. An eye
2. A drain (correct answer)
3. Snap button - could of been
4. A cookie with a dollop
5. An alien donut ship
6. The "all-seeing" eye
~
So, for those who scrolled down and already know, but most importantly for all those proffered a guess - either in the comment direct or via other channels - I say this:
~
It could of been any of those things, but per the image direct it is nothing but a sink in a drain with the light reflecting on the metal surface of the ring around the final sinking moment where the water flows - but sometimes, the hairs remain - and they take up shapes of their own!
These are the parts of the initial image I find interesting.
(As an aside, tis the end of the year upcoming - the Bills won their game - God Bless Buffalo I reckon even if the team is named after a Buffalo killer):
1. I appreciate the various ways and places the light is reflecting.
2. The water droplets (after the fact) on the sink edge seem interesting to me.
3. The orangish color of the drain perimeter circular is a bit of a mystery but I think it has to do with the lighting of the situation specific.
4. In my mind I sensed the image of "pi" off to the side of the drain. Plus the circular hairs are undeniable.
5. If you back out far enough from any image, it is almost as if you are a 3rd person observer. I hope there can be agreement on that. If not, know this - I'm watching.
6. The drain itself could be a metaphor for a "black hole" - I mean a black hole is where everything gets sucked down - just like gravity maybe makes the water flow down in a drain simple?
7. I think calculus is flawed at the edges and just like the perimeter around the drain (metal reflective) might seem to be a "perfect circle" in a way - when one gets close flaws become evident - and I don't sense how it could be any different - even at the microscope level - so there is no such thing as a perfect circle - it does not exist in anything other than imagination. I love geometry.
8. Nothing wrong with contemplating perfect circles as long as one recognize it is imaginary!
9. We would not exist without imagination is what I think, but thinking it alone is pointless - it takes two to be mutual.
Well, never mind. The email post did not have but one pic. I was beginning to think it was a drain as I scro9lled down here - and got to the end, and... I was right the second time!
With more info tis always easier to make an "informed" guess!
I like the cookie with a dollop thought.....it does look like that in a way.
I enjoy having "fun" with pictures sometimes - different perspectives on a 2-D image....I probably could have refrained from the analogy or waited longer to present "further-out" perspective, but once I typed the analogy I just decided to show the original image. Later, I might try this again and really wait for guesses to be profferred - it could be fun.
Either way I look forward to watching more of your videos and appreciate that you share a comment every now and then here at this place.
The first picture looks like an alien doughnut ship (a turd centered doughnut). The second looks like these aliens are surfing in a cesspool of their own creation. Finally, some giant hand of justice is attempting to flush it down the drain.
Ha Ha - I love the illusion Ken - but most will miss it. "Nothing is more sad than the death of an illusion. Do not be misled by what you see around you, or be influenced by what you see. You live in a world which is a playground of illusion, full of false paths, false values and false ideals. But you are not part of that world."
"We're born alone, we live alone, we die alone. Only through our love and friendship can we create the illusion for the moment that we're not alone. [Orson Welles]
Hey - in a way - one of the memes you presented - sort of had an aspect similar to this - I think it was some fellas supposedly parking a vehicle - but it was all a "ruse".......not clear sometimes when looking "too close".....(I think that was at your place - ....)
Either way Ratio - you should share some insights on the "paramedic" job I think you recently started up on - sorry if I'm wrong about that - whatever the new job is, share some insights on that please.
I enjoy your stories and memes as well - but to be honest - I enjoy the stories combined with the memes primarily!
Before the end of the year - I'll show more.
I'm hoping some guesses are proffered...

I can't help myself - I must be a geometry lover!
Thank-you and Happy New Years!

Go Bills!
Bills prevailed again - 4 in a row for the Bills fighting back!

First picture reminded me of the all seeing eye 👁️
That is what is seemed to me in a way if I didn't already know it was a drain!
Nice to see you posting.

It looks like a cooky with a chocolate dollop on top.

I'm not sure about sadness associated with the death of illusion - others could argue that is "learning".
Blessings to you and as they like to say round these hearn parts - A blessed New Year friend!
Ken
I am stumped.
Don't be!
(ha, ha - I don't think you are....
Happy New Year
