An Experiment Dear Reader

I am participating as well - it has to do with "temperature"

So - this is an experiment. I have two thermometers I have acquired and in the past they did not agree upon temperature - but just now for a bit I set them side by side - and dear reader - can you tell the readings?

Here are some images - starting of with the thermometers.

Now - maybe not easy to “tell” if you haven’t read here prior, but that is two thermometers on the mantle. I’m in the midst of some painting work and what not and have I told you what a pain in the ass Wells-Fargo has been for me?

Oh gracious - maybe later - but let me share this first.

This is another view of the fireplace - and some recent tile work I had to do because that damn grey paint just wasn’t going to cure - I reckon the wood underneath is old and refuses to allow entry of the oil-based paint - so I covered the worst part of it in tile - and then I put some rice on the rest of it - just to see if that might help.

This is my Daddy’s desk in a room with fine hardwood maple flooring and the status of the painting job - still not yet complete - but it will be soon enough.

This is the kitchen where I’ve done a few enhancements recently and the rolled up Persian rug so fine - along withs some quarter-round that will be nailed in after the painting job is done later today I hope.

This is the room where that one thermometer normally resides.

This is some artistry along with a pair of glasses - these glasses lately - sometimes I just prefer to take them off.

Well - I’ve been at the “getaway” place for quite a bit of time - Wells Fargo pisses me off to no end - and there was a “J” in that document - so them funds best be transferred soon, but I’m already making arrangements to change the entity I bank with - cause “poor customer” service is not to be promoted - but rather ought be denigrated and don’t be surprised when all your customers depart after such poor service Wells Fargo - you bunch of effers - not kidding around. Send the funds please - they are MINE.

In honor of Alexandra - gracious enough to come here and have some discourse.

I have finished the paint work - now all that is left to do is put in some quarter round and some curtains!

So in honor of Alexandra - the finished paint job done today after our discourse below!

Now I should inform you - not only to I participate in discourse at her place - hells-bells - I even “recommend” her site - and I don’t do that sort of thing easy - but when I work on a job - I do a job well done - you decide for yourself!

Two images I share - it includes the rug that was already there - what a rug it is!

I got a sweet place here I offer up for invited guest only. The floor is old maple hardwood I scraped to the core and the rug straight out of Iran - tis Persian with proof on the underside. The tile work is done for both functional and aesthetic purposes - and lots and lots and hard work and elbow grease has gone into this place - so - for those invited here only - when you arrive I hope you get as much pleasure out of experiencing it as I have gotten over the years in turning this mill home into reality - into a place of my dreams. A small humble abode made out of hard work and love. I’m not the only one who senses value of this and I know it.
