A Poem I share freely - italics be better - but "whatever":

~~

I've been in a "metaphorical" battle with

the epoxy coffee table I'm trying to make

as evidenced in this article today

~

at the end of the day and not pictured

I finally had to put a screw in

the middle - for the sake of balance

End of Poem

Hello Ken and congratulations for your set up. What kind of foam are you using there? Reminds me of the many trials and errors with the addicts that never wanted to get me what I was asking for. I devised a template set made of silicone that you can compartmentalize depending on size needs. Sandwich style plywood with two layers of silicone on each side. I wrote a place in Fort Lauderdale that sells slabs and makes river tables, but I have not heard back from them. Maybe I am just too naïve for this world - thinking that I can continue with what I already did so well? I'll wait a little longer and then I will try to connect with a place in Tampa that sells tropical hardwood. Like you - I need to create something to keep sane in a world that has lost its marbles. All the best as always.

I purchased it at Amazon. It ain't foam - tis hard thick plastic. I had a to cut a few pieces on the job prior to this one. I had a little left over epoxy from the last batch and used it first - but I have now emptied one of the "A" containers and still have another and half the "B" for this deep pour effort!

I think I prefer this thicker epoxy - it doesn't flow so freely - and I've now laid down the coffee tinted part and will let it rest for circa 48 hours or so before I put the final layer of rose down upon it!

Peace!

Ken

I just figured it out. I mean I just figured out my printer still works - and I got ink for it. So what I am going to do is printout on some fine film the image of south america above - not kidding - and then I'm going to make sure it is steady dry - and then I'm going to place it in some epoxy work after a test or two to make sure it stands true - and then let me tell ya - that will be a coffee table some or many will pay a high price for I reckon!

So - tis nothing but imagination presently - but read back - I got a way to turn imagination into "reality" - and I don't care if you think I'm funny as Supertramp sings:

You will be right here with me.
