Update 9 - 51125
Plants Going Where they Desire Today - The Ground
A little interjection here - tis Mother’s Day after all!
I send warm wishes to ALL mothers out there - the hardest job of all!
BK, on this edit on Mother’s Day.
~
My stifled sprouts, overwintered plants, and gifts from an associate of my daughter (thank-you once again!) are going into the ground today and maybe tomorrow - I’m halfway done and there is still so much work left to do - on this and other matters.
Here are some images of the progress - with a bit of minimal commentary.
Here they are - 2025 Crop.
I can’t resist sharing this - it shows the cilantro that has gloriously come back on its own accord for a few years now - and I had faith it would again - it is sprouting in many places - and I think I also see some tomatoes that like to return on their own - but that will be Post 10 discussion.
Um - I should add cilantro is key ingredient in the fresh salsa I make! Oh - and here is “Cutting Board #2” - a Mother’s Day gift to my wife after #1 cracked with too much weight upon it.
These are the two big overwinter mamas - one is 3 years old and the other 2. I hope they both make it - and the holes I dug for them are show above!
I’m about halfway done - even though my sprouts were “stifled” - I think I know the cause now - I still am trying to plant each an every one of them fought through this fungal attack - cause get this - if they produce fruit I got a feeling that fruit - the seeds of it - might be naturally resistant to certain forms of harmful fungus!
~~~~~
How you like them Apples!
I send out a prayer for the ‘25 Crop - it ain’t easy getting transplanted - but today was a good day to do it - not too sunny and not too hot!
Peace,
You ever seen anything more endearing….if so share please…
I can't remember if I discussed earlier the Pex-A tubing I ran towards the garden area - but that is the blue tube you see there in at least one image - and that really made this effort a bit easier - and that is the point of it is it not?
To learn how to improve over time - I think that is the point of life.
Now of course - it comes with ups and downs - but ain't that what makes life worth living?
Cause if there was no "uncertainty" - then it would be as if we are robots - and I don't want to be a robot - nor a zombie. I'm a human who loves learning!
And I declare - no harmful intent.
See if you can do better!
