So - just got back to the homestead - but I took a few images before departing the getaway place (including the recently acquired “hideout”) and here they are in no particular order.
I’ve placed some woodchip in the garden - and pine straw as well.
I took this picture at the time indicated above this morning before I departed. The blind has been recently installed and the room there now with the curtain as well has a semblance of privacy for guest.
This shows the plants been held in the greenhouse mostly and not yet planted in the ground - I took a picture of them in Update #9 - and so growth is evident.
In the left of this image some red cabbage are growing - the beets didn’t make it but the cabbage somewhat to my surprise have taking - there are six “patches” and then a jungle of growth all around - I plan on tilling the soil next week cause this is where the plants in the greenhouse are destined.
Those two images just capture the “status” of some epoxy artistry/furniture I’ve been working on - on the side - and all I got left to do is fill the gaps where the rocks are.
This shows mostly cilantro came back on its own accord - I didn’t have to do a thing - as well as peppers in the top row and few other little ones.
Similar to the cilantro - these are tomatoes - also returned on their own accord - but they along with the cilantro were expected - cause they have been showing up for the last few years this way - I seriously appreciate them. Last year one of the tomatoes came back on its own accord was like a bean stalk Jack climbed - but who knows what this year will bring!

Well - I thought I had more to share - and I probably do - the overwintered momma’s seem to have taken to the soil but hells-bells - it ain’t easy being transplanted - I’ll show some picture of them in Update #11 - and lots of little peppa plants got a whole lot of catching up to do - and it has been cold but they seem happy and so I have hopes the ‘25 Season is going to be fruitful!

Please don’t mind this for now….tis here for a reason:
Mike is playing a mean game - here is the status:
Check it out - I’ve swept the board!
check this out!
With respect to the "epoxy" work above - if you look close you can count the rings on the wood - you can see the rays that come out from the center of the tree - you can even deduce where the chainsaws cut the wood....it is all recorded - as is the center of the limb and the bark as well.
If you are a gardener you know the beauty of that is the effort to grow some plants - I've grown these from seeds - they have been stifled - but I planted them still alive - and I have high hopes for their eventual fruitful lives - and that is simply because I have respect for both the old heritage tree taken down but not forgotten as well as for the little sprouts I have planted in the garden.
I've just noticed something sort of bizarre and odd - I've posted images from this article elsewhere - it was here:
