We have all we need Ken and more. "“Stop storing up for yourselves treasures on the earth, where moth and rust consume and where thieves break in and steal. Rather, store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consumes, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. “The lamp of the body is the eye. If, then, your eye is focused, your whole body will be bright. But if your eye is envious, your whole body will be dark." [Matthew 6:19-23]

So here I'll share something personal regarding this easement infraction that has bugged me for a long time...seriously - a long time and what has been the fate of AT&T after the infringed upon my property?

~~~
you wouldn't believe the records I have on all this....and truly....a local member of the zoning authority eventually was forced to come to my place to visit and this is the message I left him with:
.....not kidding around...this is real:
Dear Mr. Hodges,
Thank-you sir for your professional demeanor and willingness to come here in person to discuss the junction box placed on our property at 6208 Carriagehouse Lane. I can't deny I was unaware of "right-of-ways" extending from the middle of the road, but notwithstanding that, there is no denying some of these zoning criteria are nuanced.
This issue of the junction box has been a troubling one for me particularly with respect to how AT&T did not provide proper notification and with respect to the quality of the crews doing the job. I'm sure this comes as no surprise to you. From my perspective there are many opportunities for improvement, so if the time you spent and the time I have spent regarding this issue leads to improvements in the future, then I suppose it has been time will spent.
While I would prefer service provided either for free being the junction box is on my property, for the time being seems what makes most sense, all things considered, is to just let this rest. I do think however, that there is an underlying issue here of dispute still.
Again, let me express my appreciation for your professionalism.
Sincerely,
Ken Hausle
The box is on my property and I could cut the wires at any moment, but if I did, then they would try to take me to court and waste my time, so why would I do that, but the fact remains - the box is past the easement and no gubment bureaucrat can convince me otherwise cause I got the survey and I know the lines don't come from the middle of the road.....oh no....so really - do you think I am a dummy?
