Well, tis a Saturday afternoon, my team lost last week, I'm just sitting here in front of the keyboard and I suppose I ought come up with my "plan". Here it is:

1. I got a whole bunch of seeds here at our present "main" home place, and I need to go ahead and set aside the seed to be planted for the '24 season.

2. I left some seeds behind at the Getaway place and I need to go get those seeds - I will God willing - I'll get em if the Goddesses and the Gods want me to......get em. Anyhow - it ought be easy and I need to check the place out and it will be like camping with no water easy.

3. I need to set the potting soil to be used aside and then come up with maybe a better way of planting the seeds this year.

4. I think I'll keep the plants I've been really trying to keep alive separate from the babies hoping to grow this year, cause eff me - no aphids this year are gonna eff things up like they did in '23.

5. I'm gonna stew on this and then start putting my ambitions into action.

I'm not kidding around and I sure hope you ain't got no problem with a fella who has peppa ambitions - if you do, tis your problem and not mine - keep your problems to yourself if you don't mind - I got work to do.

Just to put this out there for you, I'd probably die smiling! https://twitter.com/333too3/status/1751775215481491885

Then there's the Carolina Reaper Pepper: https://twitter.com/333too3/status/1751775215481491885

I have Carolina reaper seeds and many others.....super hot peppa stuff they are courtesy my nieces husband - as documented in previous posts! But, I'm not as familiar with these other varieties (yet), so '24 season will be experimental in that regard. Critical thing though is I (hope) I learned my lesson last year and will avoid the aphids on the baby sprouts this season. If so, the ghost pepper crop ought be something and I truly hope I get more of those cayenne/jalapeño hybrid peppas - those babies look good and "find the balance" between taste and heat!

Thanks for "checking in" every now and then P - I hope you are well.

Thanks for the reply Kenny. my hope is that all are well, the good folk whom you love and are a part of, and all is well, the joy of living in your quadrant of the world! Have you thought about setting up a temporary green house for the young plants until they can be reasonably transplanted to avoid the aphids and other munching fauna? Stay well & joyous!

OK - I'll keep telling about my X-Com 2 adventures. Really - this game is a masterpiece.

~

So, after returning to home base, many members seriously injured - some promotions proffered - a call for assistance came out and a team ready assembled.

~

This mission was characterized as "flawless" at the end cause the objectives were met and not even one soldier was injured - good thing the medic was quick with a "heal" after the one soldier caught on fire - and best part of this mission - the robots encountered never saw "us" coming and they were swiftly eliminated with hidden precision.

Every day has a new mission - they usually don't go so easy.

So, there is this game I enjoy playing to keep my mind occupied - it is called "X-Com 2" and sons of bitches this is the epitome of turn-based tactical squad combat - it is just a game, but it reflect the evolution of "PC games" over the years and it is a masterpiece. I mean truly - it is an incredible way to learn.

~

So I think later on I might come back and describe the scenario that played out this morning as I went to the base of the enemy with my squad - we recovered the goods desired - and the best thing I can say after the fact - the squad all lived! I've played this game so many times and in this mission I got to experience another "first" - something never happened before. I'll be succinct - the fella good at staying hidden had to run back and get the sniper staying at higher elevation who was "bleeding out" after a ruthless long-distance attack done "melee-wise" being this antagonist entity that bled the sniper is most mobile - an assassin she is. But, his bleeding body was collected by the hidden one and he then promptly got back to the vessel at the pick-up point. His mate on the mission lived.

When all were riding back together in the "copter" - cause every member of this mission survived (barely) - they bonded with each other and they knew their wills were resolute even if the future is uncertain.
