Update - 102725 - Here is the gift mentioned below (three images):

This last image was when the epoxy had not fully cured - its reflection may have matched that of silver…..you can see the ripples on the ceiling.

So my effort on this latest “project” has come to closure - I hope to improve my skills and I enjoy the effort of taking some pieces of wood (see below) and figuring out a way to connect them.

Oh - here is the “clock” that was in the “box”.

It doesn’t “look” like that anymore - I had to make some adjustments when the “time piece” broke - let me tell ya - lots of little plastic gears in that - but I figured out a way to replace it and I might just add one more coat of epoxy later…..

Happy Birthday I say again to my wife Pam. She and I both are 60 now. Born in ‘65. Wow - time moves on endlessly I reckon.

Update - tis 1827 - I’m working and learning on my “drying technique” for this epoxy coated wood I got serious plans in the making:

Well naturally there been “no guesses” - not as if any were expected - and of course the Bills having another “tough game” tonight - seems the “wife curse” is coming into play…..oh well….maybe next year….(still - I’ll take the odds at half-time - what you want to bet - how bout 8 bitcoin!). Anyhow - this is the plan:

Crazy clear mirror of epoxy I say! (See Above!)

What you see in the reflection is indicative of the smoothness of the “epoxy mirror” still liquid - so smooth it reflects the ripples on the ceiling. Now that is a smooth coat of epoxy on this piece for sure.

The time now is 7:05 pm - 1905. Time to get ready for bed.
