I’ve been eating some hot “peppers” lately, and I decided today was time to refine my taste-testing. So here - let me share the comparison.

(this is an edit - just actually ate a bit of em each - the ghost momma is making a comeback - oh boy - tis a matter of dosage - to find the sweet spot!)

Ok - tis 1522 on the same day - 81624 - I’ve eaten both the little pieces up - on on one side of my mouth and the other on the other - both sides of my mouth are now on fire. Hard to tell the difference just now - seems like it could be “tie” for the end of the peppers - and mind ya - the hot part is the membrane - I know I got some peppers to barter! Make an offer - lets trade!

I’m pretty sure - I can dissolve dried out peppa fruit hot from the get go in a proper solution - but the solution below is nothing a drink I intent on trying out - being my tongue ain’t hot no more - maybe I have got some tolerance building up to heat in general - and if so - let it be known - I’m a proprietor tests my own product and I stand by quality - and these pepper were grown with no herbicides, no pesticides, nothing added that wasn’t natural - but that peat which provides some “acid” for the soil is critical every now and then - both the peppers and the tomatoes - so if you want top notch seriously grown peppa product - made with love and learning in mind - and if you got something offer in barter - then reach out to me - I’m easy to find.

and now if you will excuse me on my birthday - I’m going to drink some pepper in Captain Morgan White Rum - oh to be a pirate!

My tongue is still “hot” but I learned from previous tasting lessons. So now the peppers in comparison:

Here they are “cut in half”.

These are the little pieces I put into my mouth - the one most “southern” comes from the Carolina Reaper pepper and the one above that from the ghost.

OK - I put both in my mouth - and I’m not kidding around - my tongue is still “hot” - the Carolina Reaper one was without a doubt more “heatful”, but see I have learned just to let them be in my mouth a bit of time and I don’t chew them nor do I swallow them anymore - I’ve learned my lessons the hard way…..

And being I have eaten the ghost pepper fruit already - and the fact this Carolina Reaper one is still making my lips feel warm - I can assure you - the pepper is probably over 2 million Scoville units - and the hottest one is still maturing on the plant in the garden!
