So just now I started to type a comment at another SubStack place and I got a message requesting a "check" of my email. That don't sit well with me and so I figured I'd come here to my own place and see if I can type a comment on my own post. I'm glad I'm able to type this comment, and here is the place where a "check" was required.

For the sake of fair disclosure before I posted this I went back to the other place and lo-and-behold the check was no longer requested - makes one wonder sometimes...

Thanks back atcha Andy!

I appreciate the times I see you around on other "stacks"....

I hope you are doing well.

I've had a bad toothache, I mean really bad.....I went to the dentist....I may have to go back again, but I'm not sure. Even so, I'm not gonna let a little pain get in the way of my ambitions!

Plus - the plants seem to look even a bit better today - I think many of them are established and man that feels good - I can't deny it. Plus, if things transpire according to plans, I have some guest coming to visit our other place and that truly gives me joy. A big part of my heart is in that place.

Peace to you,

Ken

I followed your comments on the other thread Ken , but got confused about how his redirect works - seems superfluous to me - why bother?

Anyway it's great to see how your garden grows and you are certainly doing well. But I have a disaster on hand. I planted 15 runner beans in 4 inch pots, setting them at the suggested 2 inch depth on 29th April. Nothing has appeared to date. We checked one the other day and a little green spot had appeared but they are just not growing.

We've had a warm week with plenty of sun and now I am going to plant the remaining seeds direct into the garden and see what happens now the soil is warmer. Any ideas/suggestions welcome.

Blessings

I suspect you know better than me. But maybe it is sort of the same difference how I thought it was maybe better I wasn't here a week ago to see plants seeming to be suffering, when after another week transpired they would be looking better? I sure hope this is the case. Really I do.

Just posted an image of "the kickoff play" on the pee-wee story - it took me about 30 minutes to make it because I felt inspired in the moment - the beauty of it in a way.... truly the beauty of making the image is it helped me realize an error I had in my story, and I have already edited that error out! The Story is now complete up to 6 chapters, and at most there will only be 4 more chapters - who do you think is going to win the game P&S? Seriously - I want to know your opinion on that and if you don't have one, read the story again (it has been updated), and let me know who you are cheering for!

I send my warm regards to your runner beans and hope they are just waiting for the proper time to emerge. Diversity is the spice of life, so hopefully you have contingencies in place just in case.

Warm Regards,

Ken

Thanks Ken - my beans appreciate your prayer. Yes I have enough beans to go direct into the garden and the end of the month.

Would you be kind enough to give me a link to your pee wee saga - I am unable to find it and will re read this week.

best wishes

There is a good chance the story will evolve before you get to it, but know this - I appreciate you posting here. Ergo - I appreciate you in general.

Peace,

Ken
