OK - I'd like to announce the 4th chick - oh make that the 5th one has been named.
The name is Haskell - the story will be told later.
~
So, this is the tally thus far:
1. Bloof - whom I now like to refer to as Sploof Bloof Bloof Sploof!
2. Pumpkin - my baby doll first choice - a little petite chick she is - and feisty!
3. Buttercup - oh gracious, buttercup tis fine!
4. Waverly - that is the bird I think flew into the feeder on the video I shared - on another article I recall.
5. The newly named "Haskell"....so
6. ???
~
Just one last one to name - tis perhaps the biggest chick in there - but pecking order remains to be determined - they all are perty feisty cepting maybe Sploof Bloof!
Here is some info I've come across publicly available regarding Haskell - the term of it:
~
Haskell (/ˈhæskəl/[25]) is a general-purpose, statically typed, purely functional programming language with type inference and lazy evaluation.[26][27] Haskell pioneered several programming language features such as type classes, which enable type-safe operator overloading, and monadic input/output (IO). It is named after logician Haskell Curry.[1] Haskell's main implementation is the Glasgow Haskell Compiler (GHC).
Haskell's semantics are historically based on those of the Miranda programming language, which served to focus the efforts of the initial Haskell working group.[28] The last formal specification of the language was made in July 2010, while the development of GHC continues to expand Haskell via language extensions.
Haskell is used in academia and industry.[29][30][31] As of May 2021, Haskell was the 28th most popular programming language by Google searches for tutorials,[32] and made up less than 1% of active users on the GitHub source code repository.[33]

but that ain't what the recently named bird is named after.......but is it a coincidence or not I query?
~
I find it ironic in a way......but ask Beaver I reckon!
In the future these little chicks will be laying eggs and I will share with the neighbors.
This is the future I imagine.
So one is named "Pumpkin" - and the other name "Waverly" and they all will get names and they will go in the coop already placed and prepared - and then I will have eggs to share.

OK some names are happening - here they are:
Pumpkin - she is the little one. I'm most fond of this hen.
Butter-cup - she is the one cuter than all out. You pick her out.
There is one who flaps her wings - a name for her was chosen - just can't remember it now. I remember - I named her “waverly”.
One other I gave to my daughter being she had a brooding hen needed a chick.
That leaves just three two more to be named. There were seven to start of with and the black one tis already named “Bloof”.
After that - they are the chickens in the coop already setup - cause I plan in advance....don't you?
In the future these little chicks will be laying eggs and I will share with the neighbors.
This is the future I imagine.

That is called - win-win.
