My Team Just "Lost"
But it was a hell of a fun game - no sour apples on my end
I feel a poem coming….let me type it….it is called:
Strong in Victory is easy:
Strong in Victory is easy.
Strong in defeat not so much.
Strength builds over generations…..
The energy of it tis undeniable.
Dead or alive the memory of those passed
is reminiscent and the strongest often end up being
the ones lost the most - with nothing left to lose…..but
Remember this: There are watching eyes and some of them care about you!
Vice-versa we all hope as we live day-by-day - victories and defeats - they come and go.
Well, if you didn’t know already, let me tell you this:
Son’s of bitches - “my” team lost, but it was a hell of a fun game. I’m wondering about the “K-Ball”, but I got no sour apples and Kansas City - the Chiefs - there is no doubt - they are a hell of a good team and so are the Bills - the Buffalo Bills. The refs in general did a decent job and the game was fun - good entertainment - that’s what it is you know - entertainment - it says as such on the ticket. Thing is some of us in our formative years - we form associations with certain ideas and concepts and home team ideologies and such - that is why I love and will always love the Buffalo Bills even if they are named after a fella killed so many american bison.
Nobody ought hang their head in shame - it was a hell of a good game - even that kicker out of West Virginia - Bass is his name - he ought done better - but maybe next year is a saying we got in Buffalo! For good reason - (ha, ha).
Plus - think about this - there are puzzles to be solved! Like this one I just started on.
I told my daughter the methodology I was using on this puzzle being the perimeter pieces are mostly the same shade - when that is the case you have to use other factors to figure out how to connect the pieces and evidence of this is presented above along with initial “differentiation” efforts in individual piece separation - this will be refined of course later after the perimeter is finished.

So, assuming you are still alive - life goes on even if your “team” loses a game.
Tis just a game after all….

My wife took the picture above - this is a “snippet” of it - do you see the peach on the door, the hexagons, and the plaque - you can’t read it, but the plaque says: Hausle.
This image could be the 2nd possible new “avatar”, “moniker”, “icon” I share about myself, but a long time ago I decided - the one I chose first is the one and only one for me - I’m loyal as all out. That is just me.

Games are fun - it is fun to have a team to cheer for and it is fun to have fun, but life is serious and 2024 in my mind…..tis the year of Resolution.

I would like to say the following regarding the game.
1. Both teams played so well - the players put their hearts on the field.
2. The teams obvious and evident were and are both so well coached - there is no doubt on that - so know this - a good coach ain't easy to find - when you find one - hold onto them even if some seasons don't go as expected - play the long game in favor of continuity - it usually pays off better.
3. Neither team on defense seemed to have much success, but the Chiefs did better in this regard - the Bill's in their defense only had a bare minimum of linebackers - hard to play the game as such, but play the game is what is demanded - regardless how many linebackers you got - maybe the Bill's would benefit from picking some "hybrid" style players - can play more than just one position as the case calls for - you need pure speedsters as well for sure but one or two "hybrid" players can play linebacker or safety or defensive end for fuck sake if need be - and damn, and most importantly, I just love the heart of the Buffalo Bills defense even if Ed Oliver was subsumed by the Chiefs.
4. Holy Moly Ed Oliver - what the hell happened to you this game? I didn't hear your name called much - were you in the game - I need to check on this - I tried to look one time but I couldn't make out a 91....damn.
5. At the end, I could tell - twas 50-50 - coin flip.
6. Chiefs won this one but lets hope there will be more.
7. Everybody - even Bass can hold their heads high - cause hells bells it ain't easy kicking K-balls in Buffalo.
8. If I was a kid picking teams and little Josh Allen when he was younger than me was in the group hoping to get picked - son's of bitches I would pick him - he is Great!

So given Josh Allen I believe is out of the Bakersfield area (I've been there in person physically), and California gets on my nerves even more than Tejas.....I got a feeling things are looking up for the Buffalo Bills cause next year the defense won't suffer so many injuries and then when the Bills meet the Chiefs again the outcome will be different one can hope. Do you want to bet on it? And if Josh Allen is from California maybe there is hope for that place but he played college ball in Wyoming and I'll just tell ya - he has buffalo sensibilities and that is why they picked him and I hope he plays his whole career there and if so there is a Super Bowl victory in his future and mine I hope!

Now, I think the time is coming for me to start considering seriously 2024 gardening plans and get this SubStack place of mine back on track.

It was a good game, played and coached well. At this level any team can win depending on who is best that day. Two of the best quarterbacks in the game IMHO.
