Edit - 121423 900 - I think it is about time to bring this “Post” to a close - here is the completed puzzle - this puzzle was a gift from last year - so no doubt - it has taken awhile to finish it….mostly it just languished, but I knew I’d get to it eventually. All it needs now is the “Mod Podge”

It “almost” seems 3-D - don’t it?

(Oh, while I’m waiting for the “servers” to get their business confirmed, let me say the puzzle is almost done - I’ll finish it in an hour when I decide to and then I’ll post an image of the puzzle completed - and better yet - I’ll show it - just prior to “mod podge” time - after that a frame it will get - and then - onto the wall of puzzles it will go!)

There is a fire pit back there and I use the leaves in my yard - and the moss off to the sides and everywhere else - I love the moss!

Edit - 12723 1445 - what you think bout these images of ice on chili!

Um while I’m waiting I’ll provide an “explanation” for the next two images I’m getting ready to present - they show how ice melts/freezes on chili fine - and being I just ate some it, I can attest - this if finely crafted and frozen chili easy to eat - 8 days a week as long you got a freezer to keep it frozen - so if the power goes off, than thank your maker’s cousin I reckon if you got a neighbor who has a generator and is willing to share - one good act from a neighbor deserves another….and now maybe my email will finish downloading the images….tis 1449 presently and they still ain’t there yet - oh boy…somebody is nosing around in something ain’t none their beeswax - I’ll wait patiently…till I won’t.

Tis 1451 now and this took way longer than it ought have - I know better, but regardless - here are the images from the Deceptive month of December:

You must realize - just like water is 3-D in behavior - so is ice frozen….I think this is the sort of thing that needs to be better understood going forward - for the sake of geometry and learning in general.

The first image shows the chili whole and the container top removed on the granite counter top - the 2nd image is a close-up of the “ice shapes” formed in the chili - so you got an explanation for how these shapes formed? Seems as if they were “reaching up” for something else….

So below I’m going to post an image on a “deceptive” puzzle I’ve been working on for far too long…..good thing my daughter realized - there is info on the back of the pieces…..DUH….I didn’t know at first.

I can say with confidence that there is no way for the observer to truly appreciate the 2-dimensional image of 3-diminesional reality if the observer is not literally physically present in body - cause there are things in the image there that are inexplicable in a way…if you aren’t here physically - nothing wrong with that, but lets be aware of this reality….and lastly - puzzle like this are fun I think.

This image is of a rug recently acquired made with polypropylene if I read the label correct and made in Egypt.

This rug may complement some of the ones I got at our Getaway Place, so I want to put out a “thank-you” to my friend in the neighborhood.

Ain’t that a perty rug?

I think so and I can tell already - tis well made. I think it will compliment the Persian rugs already in place at our Getaway!

~~~~~ I’ll tell a story now….. ~~~~~

I have friends I have known for so long, and we share ideas with each other and we share past history - known only amongst these long-time friends. So, one act of friendship deserves another, and I acquired this Egyptian rug from a friend in the neighborhood and I literally saw her kids when they were just little rug-rats…….

So, this morning, I drove over there and together we went to her Mama’s place and opened the garage door and got the rug in the image above. It has pretty thick matting and seems well made and I figured - why not give it some time in the sun being it has been rolled up for far too long.

I’m pretty sure I know where I’m going to place this in our getaway place there in Fries, VA - and really - twas only after my friend and her mama visited that they offered up this rug not being utilized.

Ain’t that how it goes with friends?

I got some long-time friends and even though I lost some of my deep strong friends from back in Buffalo - I made new friends and that is life!

OK - here is the next “deceptive” image, taken in November mind ya - but you figure it out. I think I got two pussies spending time on my front porch at our getaway place and these cats better realize I will eat you up.

By the way - I had the time “programmed wrong” it was 2023 when these pussies spent some time on my porch - and don’t get me wrong - I love pussy as much as the next fella - but cats meandering and doing this and that on the front porch in the long run - it leads to nothing but trouble - so these “puddy cats” are on notice!

You know what is the most amazing thing for me - a fella been in an actual Duracell factory (I’ve been in Michelin factories as well - and SO many more you wouldn’t believe all I’ve seen) - these batteries happened to be made in Belgium - go figure on that!

Regardless - after the dead doe showed up unexpected just before my daughter’s engagement party at our home in Charlotte and I moved the carcass disemboweled to the side of the road after I bagged it up and called “311” - good service that was….my mind firmed in resolve and really - this place is well defended.

Defend to the death is what one does in a home full of love.

I haven’t watched this all and I really do sort of like puddy cats - but I’m allergic to them and I’d just assume they don’t use my front porch to congregate….but whatever - how about some good music to end this rambling post about “deceptive December”….
